To Fill My Life with Your Fruit of the Spirit

Prayer

Heavenly Father, help me be firmly rooted in you, so that I can bear the good fruit that comes from you. I know that only by the power of the Holy Spirit can I have love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control in my life (Galatians 5:22-23). I desire to have a close relationship with you that will produce good fruit in me and through me for the good of others. I want to do all this for your honor and your kingdom. Amen.

Luke 6:43-45

⁴³“A good tree can’t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit. ⁴⁴A tree is identified by its fruit. Figs are never gathered from thornbushes, and grapes are not picked from bramble bushes. ⁴⁵A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart.”
