Weekend Series: Places

DreamTeam Writer: Kelly Pagel

Saturday, March 9, 2024

This past week we had the opportunity to consider the significance mountains have in the Bible as well as begin reading the book of Mark.

Today, I invite you to carve out a few quiet moments to reread the verses that really spoke to you this week. Some possibilities may come from last weekend’s message, such as Matthew 5:1-12 or Mark 1-4. Then look back on any notes you may have captured over the past few days and reflect on the actions you took this week.

What was something significant you learned about God this week? How will you apply this to the mountains you encounter in your life?

Prayer:
Lord, thank you for this week, and all you have taught me through your Word. When I am climbing a mountain in life, although I often want to have the difficult part done and simply be at the summit, Father, help me find joy in the journey. Help me continue to grow closer to you each day. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Series Theme Verse:

Romans 1:20

For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.
