CedarCreek West Toledo: A Welcoming Church Where You Can Just Be Yourself

Church Community: Soarion Digital

Thursday, May 28, 2026

If you've been looking for a church in West Toledo but keep talking yourself out of going — we get it. Maybe you're not sure what you believe yet. Maybe you had a bad experience somewhere else. Maybe you just don't want to walk into a room full of strangers and feel like everyone's watching you.

Here's what we want you to know: none of that disqualifies you from showing up at CedarCreek West Toledo. In fact, it's exactly the kind of thing that makes this community worth trying.

What It's Actually Like to Walk In

Our West Toledo campus is at 2600 West Sylvania Ave., Toledo, OH 43613. When you pull into the parking lot and walk through the doors, the first thing you'll notice is that nobody's going to make it weird. Our DreamTeam volunteers are there to welcome you, point you in the right direction, and answer any questions, not to interrogate you or hand you a clipboard.

Grab a free coffee. Find a seat. That's really all you need to do.

Services run about an hour and include live worship music and a Bible-based message that connects to real life, the kind of stuff you're actually thinking about during the week, not just on Sunday morning. You can participate as much or as little as you want. Nobody's keeping score.

For Families

If you're bringing kids, you can pre-register online before your first visit to make check-in quick and easy. Every weekend, children from newborns through 4th grade have their own space in CedarVille, safe, age-appropriate, and genuinely fun. Middle schoolers (5th–8th grade) have programming during weekend services, and high schoolers (9th–12th grade) gather on Wednesday nights.

Who Leads the West Toledo Campus?

Our West Toledo Campus Pastor, Ed Bellner, has been part of the West Toledo community for a long time — long enough to know its struggles firsthand and care deeply about the people in it. Ed became a pastor in 1992 and has been part of CedarCreek since its early days. His whole approach is built around meeting people where they are, which shows up in everything the West Toledo campus does.

Service Times

We meet Saturdays at 5pm and Sundays at 8:30am, 10am and 11:30am. You can also watch live online at watch.cedarcreek.tv at all the same times, with on-demand messages available throughout the week if you'd rather start there.

When You're Ready to Go Deeper

One thing that makes West Toledo unique is Celebrate Recovery, a Christ-centered program for anyone working through a hurt, a habit, or a hang-up. It meets every Thursday, with a large group at 7pm and open share groups at 8pm. It's honest, it's real, and it's the kind of community that doesn't ask you to pretend everything's fine before you walk in.

Beyond that, we have small groups, serving opportunities, and GrowthTrack, a 4-week program that helps you figure out your purpose and where you fit in the community, all available whenever you feel ready to take a next step.
