The CommunityCare Clinics were born out of a vision Dr. Paat brought back with him following a medical mission trip to Haiti in 2010. They exist to provide free quality health care to the underserved and to raise healthcare awareness in the Toledo community. In 2012, the clinic began operating out of CedarCreek’s South Toledo Campus – this remains the largest location. Various other clinics operate on different days throughout the Toledo area. These clinics offer an array of services, provided by trained volunteers, and CommunityCare Clinics is officially the largest student-run free medical clinic in US - 4,568 people were served in 2023! CommunityCare Clinics are not funded by UTMC or CedarCreek Church, but through grants and donations.
