As you look ahead to this new year, how will you spend your time?
Take a step in one area (or more!) to create family rhythms that fill your home with faith.
Church Time
Studies show that a majority of Americans make a personal decision to believe or not in Jesus' death and resurrection by age 12. That is a powerful metric! Making church attendance a weekly priority for your family is one of the best ways to introduce your child to Jesus and lead them on the life-changing adventure with him.
Questions to consider:
- Does our schedule reflect what's most important to us?
- Do we need to say "no" to something so we can say "yes" to something better?
- Is our family schedule helping our children Know God more?
Bible Time
Our children learn about God by watching our relationship with him. Get caught reading your Bible! And just as important, create a rhythm of reading the Bible together as a family. Bedtime is a great place to start.

Serve Time
We all want our children to be kind and generous. One of the best ways for them to experience that,"it is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35) is through rolling up their sleeves and doing something for someone else. We provide Second Saturday Serve projects every month so your family can choose a project and make a difference together.

Prayer Time
We can help our kids talk with God. Praying before school, at meal times, at bedtime - anytime - shows our kids what it looks like to have a relationship with Jesus. Join us for 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting this January to build a prayer rhythm. We provide you with prayer prompts to pray with and for your children.
If you need some prayer starters, ask your child these simple questions:
- What do you want to thank God for?
- What do you need God to help you with?
Rest Time
"Corrie ten Boom once said that if the devil can’t make you sin, he’ll make you busy. There’s truth in that. Both sin and busyness have the exact same effect—they cut off your connection to God, to other people, and even to your own soul." - John Mark Comer
We are often moving at an exceptionally busy pace. Our good God designed a weekly rhythm with an intentional day of rest. Are you receiving that gift? Are you enjoying a day of rest as a family? Consider reading, "The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry" and ask God to show you how to create more healthy and sustainable rhythms for yourself and your family.
What next step will you take?
