Bottom Line: Jesus is alive.
Read: Luke 24:1-7
When the women arrived at Jesus’ tomb, they expected an ordinary morning filled with grief and routine. Instead, they discovered the greatest miracle in history! The tomb was empty, and Jesus was alive!
Often, we do the same; approaching things expecting only what we can see.
While your child is at Kids Camp singing songs, playing games, making crafts, and learning Bible stories, God may be doing a deeper work in their heart. A truth they hear could stay with them for years. A leader’s encouragement could remind them how deeply they are loved. A simple moment of worship could become the beginning of a stronger relationship with Jesus.
The women at the tomb discovered that God was working in ways they never expected. The same is true today. Even when we cannot see it, God is moving.
As you drop your child off, pray with expectation. Ask God to open their heart, grow their faith, and reveal His love in a personal way as they hear about Jesus today. The God who rolled away the stone is still changing lives—and He may be doing something extraordinary in your child’s life this week.
Parenting is a holy assignment you were invited into, and we are so glad you’re here!
Prayer Moment
Pause today and stand somewhere quiet. Take off your shoes if you can. Say, “This is holy ground.” Ask Jesus to help you see the sacred in the ordinary. Thank Him that He brings life where we least expect it.
