We can’t keep our kids from growing up ... but we can do our best not to miss it.  

We’re celebrating Move Up Weekend and all the exciting things that come with a new room, new grade, and a new ministry. Find your child’s age below to see what they will experience this year.  

BABIES AND TODDLERS

Your little one is growing and changing every day! You show them how loved and safe they are by meeting their needs. As your baby grows into a toddler, they will start thinking, "Am I able?" and you'll step into a whole new world of exploration. Create a safe home where your little one can play, explore and learn. Read Bible stories, sing songs and pray for them out loud. 

In CedarCreek Kids your child will experience ... 

• Kind and patient leaders ready to care for them.
• A Bible Story for toddlers, along with a craft and Cheerios snack.

PRESCHOOL

Your preschooler will continue testing boundaries as they figure out what’s safe, who they can trust, and how much they can do on their own. That means meltdowns and power struggles might show up more often, but that’s not a reflection of you. It’s a reflection of them learning. Your job? Keep holding those boundaries with patience, stay steady when things get rocky, and remind your child they are loved - no matter how big their emotions feel!

In CedarCreek Kids your child will experience ... 

• Playful leaders, alongside intentional activities and toys, to help them explore, make friends and have fun.
• A Large Group lesson where your child will hear a Bible Story, participate in worship, can give money to God, and memorize a monthly Bible verse. Every lesson is focused on one of these Basic Truths: 
  • God made me.
  • God loves me.
  • Jesus wants to be my friend forever. 
• Small Group activities, with a goldfish snack, to help apply what they’ve learned in a tangible way. Your child will participate in a hands-on craft, have fun practicing their memory verse, and pray as a group. 

ELEMENTARY

In elementary school, kids begin connecting what they know about the world to who they’re becoming. They’ll use their growing skills to explore new interests and try new things, and they’ll be looking to you to notice. The most powerful thing you can do this year? See them. Engage with what they love. And keep reminding them they are accepted and valued exactly as they are.

Your child will experience ... 

• Fun leaders and curated activity stations to foster fun, friendship and provoke discovery.  
• A Large Group lesson where your child will hear a Bible Story, participate in worship, can give money to God, and memorize a monthly Bible verse. Every lesson is focused on one of these Basic Truths:
  • God is good, so I can trust Him no matter what
  • God loves me so much that He sent Jesus to rescue me. 
  • The Holy Spirit helps me live and love like Jesus.
• Small Group, with a consistent leader and group of peers, to explore, discuss and apply what they are learning. Each week a Bottom Line will help to guide the conversation. Your child will have fun with an interactive activity, open up the Bible as they learn their memory verse, and spend time praying as a group.
