Weekend Series: Places

DreamTeam Writer: Kelly Pagel

Saturday, March 23, 2024

This past week we had the opportunity to consider the significance gardens have in the Bible, as well as, continue reading through the book of Mark.

Today, I invite you to carve out a few quiet moments to reread the verses that really spoke to you this week. Some possibilities may come from last weekend’s message, such as Revelation 22:1-5 or Mark 14:32-36. Or perhaps there was a verse or verses from Mark 9-12. Look back on any notes you may have captured over the past few days and reflect on the actions you took this week.

What was something significant you learned about God this week? Where is he inviting you to get clarity on what you were made to do? What purpose filled work have you been called to?

Prayer:
Lord, thank you for the gift of purposeful work. Your Word reminds me that you planted and worked, and as your child I am made in your image and called to do the same. Please put on my heart, the work you would have me do and open my eyes to the opportunities I am to step into so others may come to know you through the work I do. Amen.

Series Theme Verse:

Romans 1:20
For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.
