Did you know God created us to be multi-dimensional beings and wants to be king in all aspects of our life? In this group we will look at where we are on the journey and how we can grow. Using the Your Journey App item, we'll take the assessment and then choose 3 domains (most likely spiritual and 2 others) to discuss and grow in each week. We'll meet online for 30 minutes over lunch to discuss what we've learned, how we are growing and pray together.

If you have a heart for the Next Generation to Know God, but don’t necessarily want to be in a classroom with kids on the weekends, you can still support our growing Kids Ministry at South Toledo! An attention to detail and a heart to prepare a welcoming environment for our Kids services on Sundays would be of great help to our ministry! Come help prepare the classrooms for our kids and leaders on Sunday mornings. We'll work together so we can be sharing life and prayers with one another. It is a great way to be in community together as we equip the weekend team to build a knowledge and love of Jesus into a foundation for the rest of our kids' lives! Bible Study Fellowship will begin a new study, Exile & Return, featuring eight Old Testament books of history and prophecy that cover Israel’s exile in Babylon and their eventual return to the promised land. We will study Daniel, Esther, Ezekiel, Haggai, Ezra, Malachi, Zechariah and Nehemiah. Jesus loved to quote Old Testament Scripture. In fact, in the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus declared, “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them (Matthew 5:17).” That means one of Jesus’ goals in coming to earth was to fulfill everything written in Scripture, including the eight books we will explore. His life, teachings, and mission are inextricably linked to and interwoven within the Old Testament. Anyone wanting to gain a complete picture of our Lord and Savior should absolutely study these amazing books. BSF’s Exile & Return study will “focus on Jesus, Israel’s Messiah-King, and how His life and ministry are anticipated in Scripture.”

This is an outreach group for people who would like flexible serving opportunities to make a difference in our community, show people that we care, and let our light shine at the City Mission. There are many open spots with flexible hours each week that we can fill, whenever our individual schedules allow. You can volunteer however often you would like to, doing various activities such as food prep, serving, cleanup, and handing meals out the back drive-thru window. Anyone 10 years old and up is welcome to join us in serving! We will be using the GroupMe app to communicate serve opportunities with each other. We will pray for each other, share scripture and words of encouragement to support each other and our journey with Christ, share stories of how God is working in our lives, and share our serving experiences with each other along the way. We will also serve on the 2nd Saturday serve days throughout the semester as a group together.

Life as you know it may never be the same. No matter where you are in your faith journey, this curriculum will challenge you to take a step toward truth—about God, about faith, and about yourself. It is for freedom that Christ set us free. That’s what Paul wrote in Galatians 5:1, and Jesus Himself said that He came to the earth so that we may have life and have it to the full ( John 10:10). Just imagine that: Life abundant. Not barely surviving, but truly living. It means days filled with hope, joy, and purpose. This is the kind of life God always intended for you to have. God wants a relationship with you, and He sent his son, Jesus, to bridge the gap between earth and heaven so you could know Him. The journey may not be easy, but it will be rewarding. During this semester, you will be the one who decides how far you are willing to go to find freedom. Here is a promise from Jeremiah 29:13: If you seek Him with your whole heart, you will find Him. The pursuit of Freedom begins today.

Love creativity, planning, and bringing big ideas to life? The WT At The Movies Creative Team is for anyone who wants to help dream, design, and plan our West Toledo Campus At The Movies experience for the upcoming year. This group will brainstorm themes, plan lobby environments and experiences, and help shape the overall vision that makes At The Movies memorable for our guests. Some meetings will focus on ideas and planning, while others may help prepare for build nights or creative execution. You don’t need to be an artist or designer. Just bring your ideas, enthusiasm, and willingness to collaborate. Whether you love planning, building, decorating, or dreaming big, there’s a place for you on this team.

Join us in making a real difference in our community! The Clothing Closet collects donated clothing, sorts and prepares everything for display, then opens its doors every second Saturday to welcome those in need to shop freely and with dignity. There are lots of ways to help: setting up the room, spreading the word, sorting donations, arranging clothes so they look inviting, and, most importantly, assisting shoppers. We meet Wednesdays from 6–8 pm and Fridays from 10 am–12 pm to get everything ready. You can choose whichever day fits your schedule—no need to commit to both! Whether you have a little or a lot of time, your help will make this outreach a success. Come be part of something meaningful and see the impact your kindness can have!

We are building a community of strong women of God to uplift and support each other as well as grow in faith together and in our relationships with God as we navigate through different faith topics and studies. Change your lunch plans, and Change a Child's life! Join us every Monday for 45 minutes to make a difference at Whitehouse Elementary by being a "Lunch Pal" for a student who could use a friend. The school will identify students who could benefit from a mentoring relationship. Some students are facing social, economic, family and or academic challenges, or they are at a point in their lives where they will especially benefit from an additional positive and encouraging adult who spends time with them. You will be paired with a student based on similar interests and then have the opportunity to sit with them for lunch and go out to recess with them. Your willingness to invest time with a child will have a huge impact! There are 4 different time frames: 11:15-12pm, 11:45-12:30pm, 12:15-1pm, or 12:45-1:30pm You can pick 1 time frame for one student or 2 time frames, and impact 2 students. Background checks (free) will be provided and are required for this group.

Booked & Blessed is a monthly book club rooted in community, connection, and really good stories. We meet the first Thursday of each month to gather, reflect, and grow together. Each month, we’ll read a popular book chosen as a group. Our selections will include bestselling fiction, fantasy, thrillers, and conversation-worthy reads that appeal to a wide range of readers. Whether you’re an avid reader or just looking for meaningful community, you’re welcome here. At each meeting, we’ll spend time catching up on life, discussing the book together, and praying for one another in a welcoming, low-pressure space. There’s no pressure to be an expert or have the “right” interpretation — just come as you are. Between meetings, we’ll stay connected through a group chat to share thoughts on the book, favorite quotes, prayer requests, and everyday life along the way. Booked & Blessed is open to men and women alike and is a place to turn pages, build friendships, and walk through life together — one chapter at a time.

STEM Tech offers a dynamic group setting where participants have fun, develop STEM skills, and grow as a team. This group is tailored for kids in grades 6-9 who will attend with an adult partner. Adult participation is mandatory. This is a hybrid STEM group that merges coding, robotics, and engineering. No prior experience is required since kids interested in technology typically pick up new skills quickly. This year, we'll build on previous work with Micro Bit and Arduino as we incorporate 3D printing into our tech projects. We’ll provide the laptops and software. Participation is free, though participants are welcome to help with material fees where needed. Our sessions kick off on Tuesday, 1/21/2025, and will take place weekly from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., featuring a brief Bible study and a discussion.

We will be discussing shared stories of trial, pain and success in recovery and how faith plays a huge role. Does your life sometimes feel like a pile of broken pieces? Whether it’s from addiction, trauma, sickness, or a loved one who may struggle with these things. If you feel broken or surrounded by brokenness, this group is for you. Your shattered pieces don’t have to stay that way. Jesus is known for taking what we feel is too far gone, what we are “ashamed” or broken over and turning it into good. We will meet at Cedar Creek every other Thursday beginning on February 12th. So we will meet on 2-12, 2-26, 3-12, 3-26, 4-9, 4-23

This is a group message between women of all ages, all structure and lifestyles. We lift, empower and encourage each other, by being supportive, offering advice, and joining along in prayer. We all come from different walks, spiritual journeys and backgrounds yet we all have one common goal and it's just to make it through this journey in a sisterhood in Christ. Life is NOT easy, we choose to not do it alone. Instead we lock arms, and forge together - one wayward step at a time :). Rather than meet weekly this is a daily open chat group through Facebook Messenger. If you are joining this group, please find me on FB and add me so we can get you added to the group chat! Are you creative? Are you looking for a place to discover your natural gifts or style? That’s why I started this group and am super excited to meet you! This group will create a space for young adults and older women through prayer, crafts, and scripture. Let's unlock our creative side and dig deeper together. Whether you’re a new believer or an experienced Christ follower, we’re all needing recovery from something or someone. In the following weeks, each hangout will start with a really fun icebreaker then spend some time in a chosen art type that’s linked to a Holy Fruit. That fruit will be backed up by scripture, which will give insight to what the fruit of that week might look like. When we finish up our art, prayer will be opened for any way we can help each other with struggles for the coming week.

Moms give 110%—all day, every day, all year long. And let’s be real: putting ourselves first? That’s often at the bottom of the to-do list (right after "laundry mountain" and "find lost sippy cup"). As a mom of two little ones, I get how hard it can be to carve out time for yourself. That’s why I’m inviting YOU—whether you’re a brand new mama, a seasoned pro with grown kids, or counting down the days 'til baby arrives—to join me for a little weekly reset. Just a small slice of time to breathe, laugh, and fill your cup. Come as you are—messy bun, yoga pants, and all. Let’s build community, share the highs, the lows, and all the in-betweens of this wild, beautiful ride called motherhood.

Every Scout chooses the amount of involvement they want. Some join just for fun and adventure, while others focus on advancement toward the top rank of Eagle Scout. God desires each of his children to follow his call. But sometimes the battles we fight for God's kingdom defy our expectations, leading us to trust him more deeply. A faithful warrior for Christ will choose obedience over glory, humility, not pride and truth with grace. In this 7 week group, We will walk through the RightNow Media series "Warrior Women" with Bianca Juarex that explores the story of Deborah, Barka and Jael to discover what being a warrior for God looks like.
