If you’ve studied John in the past here are some ideas on why the Gospel of John now! 1) God has something new to tell us every time we open Scripture—even the chapters we know intimately. 2) To be a people shaped by God, we must return to His Word again and again. 3) Miraculously, God’s Word relates to every experience life has to offer. The mission of Bible Study Fellowship is global, in-depth Bible classes producing passionate commitment to Christ, His Word and His Church. The vision is to magnify God and mature His people as they cultivate a deeper relationship with Him. In our study you will be spiritually fed! BSF uses a Four-Fold Approach. Each week, you answer questions from Scripture in personal study time, discuss the passage in your small group on Tuesday night, listen to teaching on the passage and then finally review notes that explore the passage further. Pray for God’s guidance-reach out and then show up …look forward to studying His Word with you!

For the first 8 weeks, we will be studying Lyrics of Life by Lisa Harper. We sometimes feel like we need to curate our emotions when we talk to God. But God wants us to come to him honestly, no matter what we are feeling or going through. Join Bible teacher Lisa Harper as she teaches from the book of Psalms looking at the variety of circumstance. For the following 5 weeks Sharon Hodde Miller invites us into a bigger, Jesus-centered vision—one that restores our freedom and inspires us to live for more. Based on her book Free of Me, this study unveils our deepest insecurities and equips us to focus on God and others instead of ourselves. Discover a purpose bigger than “project me” and experience freedom from the burden of self-focus.

Finding a safe space for women to connect can be difficult but even more so when your work schedule isn’t the “norm”! I lack connection due to working midnights. This group will focus on growing in relationship with Jesus, others and self. It’s easy to loose vital pieces of a faith filled walk when you become unavailable . The desire for this group is to reconnect and rediscover healing and wholeness when availability is stolen. We will meet every other Wednesday at 2p -3:30p at my home for an hour or so to connect in the word and explore His truths and one another.. Come as you are and prayerfully we can leave feeling healed and whole. Married, single, widowed women of any age are welcome . As a group we will choose a book from the Bible or video.

Some students are facing social, economic, family and or academic challenges, or they are at a point in their lives where they will especially benefit from an additional positive and encouraging adult who spends time with them. You will be paired with a student based on similar interests and then have the opportunity to sit with them for lunch and go out to recess with them. Your willingness to invest time with a child will have a huge impact! There are 4 different time frames: 11:15-12pm, 11:45-12:30pm, 12:15-1pm, or 12:45-1:30pm You can pick 1 time frame for one student or 2 time frames, and impact 2 students. Is there a student in your life who likes tech and loves to build stuff? STEM Tech provides a group environment where a caring adult and child can have fun, build STEM skills, and grow together as a team. This group meets Tuesdays at 6:30pm and is designed for kids in grades 4-7. Each kid attends with an adult teammate, i.e., parent, grandparent, etc. Please note, this is a family group and the adult participant is not optional. STEM Tech is a hybrid group that combines coding and robotics with engineering. At least one person on the team, either adult or student, should have beginner level coding experience such as Scratch, Python, VBA, etc. Each session includes hands-on build time and projects typically last 4-6 weeks. Weekly meetings are typically two hours with a short Bible lesson (and snack!) at the end.

Ladies - life is tough and some days we feel unseen and unheard unless it is people who are continuously relying on us to pour into them, lift them, support them, help out - which is what God encourages us to do. However; it is so hard to do when our cups are empty. With years of counseling and life behind us, there is a group of women who are here to help you fill your cup. This in an hour or two of sharing life with women in similar situations, who can lift you up when you're feeling empty - we have lots of encouraging messages, advice, suggestions and materials to help you navigate through the heavy. Meet us on Saturday mornings at 10 for coffee (or tea) or bring your choice of beverage and be ready for great discussion surrounding life, weekends message, world topics, current readings - whatever! No children under the age of 16, because sometimes our discussions revolve around adult topics.

You are invited to explore the adventure of dreaming, planning and organizing our Second Saturday projects. Let's dive into your purpose statement and look into the community outreach options that match your gifts. Haven't completed Growth Track or your purpose statement, we can do that together! We invite you to explore life's moments through the perspective of God's lens. Together, we'll incorporate the art of photography, noticing the beauty all around us, as a means to deepen our connection with our creator. Embrace the beauty of the ordinary, recognize God as the ultimate Sculptor, and capture the grace-filled snapshots of your faith journey. We will do that through a weekly text chat where there will be a topic that scripture is related to & then reflection questions to discuss.

Starting February 7th, we can help you STOP WORRYING ABOUT MONEY! Instead of worrying, start working a step-by-step plan. Don’t try to go it alone. Join our group and feel the support of others who are facing similar battles. Financial expert Dave Ramsey will guide us through this FREE course. It’s online so you only have to invest ONE HOUR of your time for 5 short weeks. If you have already been through Financial Peace University, are you on the last step, Baby Step 7–Build wealth and give? Or are you stuck at Baby Step 2—Pay off all debt (except the house) using the debt snowball? Do you actually have a working budget? Some of Ramsey’s material is the same and some is definitely new. The point is that knowing the information is not the same as actually doing it. Join us and find fresh inspiration to take the next practical step on your financial journey. God wants to walk with you shoulder-to-shoulder to help you get a breakthrough this year! It’s free, what have you got to lose?

The Clothing Closet will accept donations of clothing from the community, sort and prepare them for display and then open our doors for those in need to shop on every second Saturday of the month. There are many different jobs that need to be done to begin this service to our community. We need people to help set up the room, advertise it to the community, sort the clothes, display the clothes in an appealing manner and, most importantly, help people shop. This group meets on Wednesdays from 6:00pm-8:00pm and Fridays from 10:00am-12:00pm. We sort and display the donations on these days. You are not expected to be there on both days, it's a very flexible outreach group.

Have you ever wondered how a seemingly secular song can help you grow in God, as does gospel or contemporary Christian music? Just as CedarCreek occasionally opens our ears to hear the truth in some worldly songs, so can this group. Come out and start your evening off with a daily devotional before we listen to and discuss how different genres of music speak to us spiritually. Each person will share a couple of songs. Be mindful, but don't be afraid to share The Music in You.

Is there an area of your life that you'd like to see change? At the beginning of a new year it’s natural to set goals and resolutions in hopes of becoming a better version of ourselves. Many times, we set the same goals over and over again, but don’t see the consistent change we’re after. In this group, we are going to set goals for our lives and help each other take positive steps towards them in several ways: - Reading through two books, The Power to Change and All It Takes Is a Goal, that will give us practical and scriptural resources to help us be more successful in achieving our goals. - Through weekly communication via group chat - By meeting in person one Monday evening a month at 6:30pm. The Dates are as followed: Jan 22, Feb 19, March 11, and April 15th

1 Timothy 4:8: "Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come." As brothers in Christ, we need to be prepared both physically and mentally, and we can't do it on our own. This group is meant to support one another through the physical, mental, and spiritual stresses that we deal with daily. We are an online group that will communicate via text as we learn and discuss scripture and navigate through our workout routines.
