This past month of my internship has been a really exciting time of learning, growing, and getting more comfortable in my role as a Production Intern. I’ve had the opportunity to be involved in several different events and experiences that have helped me grow both in my production skills and as a part of the Arts Team.
One of the highlights this month was our Arts Team night at Reset. It was a great opportunity for everyone to come together outside of our normal roles and just enjoy spending time with each other. We played games like bowling, had some pizza, and got to know more people on the team. It was a fun reminder that being part of the Arts Team is not just about what we do during services, but also about building relationships with the people we serve alongside.
I also had the opportunity to be part of a worship night where I was able to use the roaming camera throughout the entire event. This gave me more experience operating the camera in a live environment and helped me become more comfortable following what was happening on stage while still getting good shots.
Another Arts Team night gave us the opportunity to worship together and learn more about our different roles. It was encouraging to learn more about how everyone contributes to making a service happen and how all of our different responsibilities work together.
Throughout the month, I’ve also continued learning more about ProPresenter and how it is used during services. I got to learn Stationary Camera one for the first time, which was another new skill for me. Each time I learn something new, I feel like I’m becoming more confident and capable in production.
Overall, this month has been a great experience. I’m excited to continue building my skills, learning from the people around me, and seeing how much I can grow throughout the rest of my internship.
