Hello Everybody!
hope all is well with you! I thought I could take some time to catch you up on a few things.
First off, one of the things I’m most passionate about—besides spreading the Word of God—is Detroit sports. I’m a ginormous Tigers, Red Wings, and Lions fan. In fact, I love the Red Wings and Detroit sports in general so much that I have a Red Wings tattoo on my left arm. My dog, Seider, is even named after Moritz Seider, one of the defensemen who plays for the Wings.
Another one of my favorite teams is the Tigers. I’ve been a Tigers fan since the day I was born, and ever since then, I’ve loved the Old English “D” with a passion. I’ve also gotten way too familiar with the expression, “Wait till next year.”
I’m old enough to still remember the 2012 Tigers team, which had one of the best bullpens in MLB history, along with the sheer power and contact that team could produce at the plate. Detroit sports have always been a huge part of who I am, and I could probably talk about the Tigers, Red Wings, or Lions for hours but I won't bore you Cleveland fans by talking about the better teams.
I also have a beautiful girlfriend named Emily. We’ve been dating for a little over a year and a half, and she has introduced me to so many things that I probably never would have tried if I hadn’t met her. For example, pop music (lol)! I’m a huge 5 Seconds of Summer fan. She’s also introduced me to some rock bands that I now love, like Twenty One Pilots and Panic! At The Disco.
I am so unbelievably happy that God has put her in my life. The photo attached is from when Seider met Santa at Bass Pro this past Christmas. If you look really hard, you might be able to see him!
One more thing I’m incredibly passionate about is music. I love music, whether it’s The Beatles, Foo Fighters, Rush, or Twenty One Pilots. I love it all! In fact, I’ve been playing bass for about 15 years now. I have a five-string Fender Jazz Bass and a Höfner Ignition, which is modeled after the bass Paul McCartney played with The Beatles.
Well, that pretty much brings you up to date! Next week, we’ll talk about more things going on in the world of Reid.
Thanks for reading!
Reid Trost
