The realities of the foster care system in Lucas County reveal a grim situation for the children who are impacted. Driven by a desire to change the way foster care begins, Isaiah 117 Houses provide physical and emotional support in a safe and loving home for children awaiting placement. Jennifer Bohnsack, a foster parent since 2012, is leading the charge to build an Isaiah 117 House in Lucas County. Once this dream becomes a reality, children entering the foster care system will be encouraged by the message, “Love, you are not alone.”
