CedarCreek Oregon Campus: Outreach & Community Involvement

Church Community: Soarion Digital

Sunday, June 7, 2026

The Oregon campus has always had a heart for the people right outside its doors. Since launching in 2018, our team here has been building something that goes well beyond a Sunday service, a community that shows up consistently for Oregon, Ohio in practical, meaningful ways.

If you're looking for a place to get involved and actually make a difference in this community, here's what that looks like at CedarCreek Oregon.

CedarCreek Oregon's Outreach Programs

Outreach at CedarCreek Oregon is built around consistency. Not big one-off moments, but showing up month after month for the same neighbors with the same commitment. Our programs focus on meeting real, tangible needs, food, clothing, companionship, and connection,  for people experiencing homelessness and other vulnerable members of our community.

Second Saturday Serves are the backbone of that effort. Every month, volunteers from the Oregon campus head out into the community for hands-on outreach projects. It's organized, accessible, and one of the most genuine ways we know to connect people with each other and with the community they live in. Whether you're a long-time CedarCreek attender or someone who has never set foot in a church, you're welcome to show up and serve.

Year-round, we also run a free medical clinic, provide automotive assistance to people in need, and partner with local schools to invest in the next generation of Oregon kids. These programs run quietly and consistently because the people we serve need them week in and week out, not just when it's convenient.

Volunteering with CedarCreek Oregon

Getting involved in outreach at our Oregon campus is straightforward. The easiest first step is showing up to a Second Saturday Serve, no prior experience, no long-term commitment required. Just come and see what it's like to serve alongside people who genuinely care about this community.

For those who want something more ongoing, our outreach groups offer a way to serve consistently with the same team, building real relationships with both the people you serve alongside and the neighbors you're serving. These smaller teams meet regularly and partner with local organizations to make a sustained, relational difference rather than just showing up once.

If you want to find the right fit for your specific gifts and schedule, GrowthTrack is the best starting point. It's a free 4-week program that helps you discover your purpose and connects you directly to the right serving opportunity at the Oregon campus and beyond.

Community Partnerships at CedarCreek Oregon

We believe the most effective community work happens in collaboration. At CedarCreek Oregon, we partner with local organizations addressing homelessness, food insecurity, and other pressing needs in the Oregon area to extend our reach and align our efforts with what the community actually needs. These partnerships mean that when someone comes to us for help, we can connect them with a broader network of support beyond what we can offer on our own.

That collaborative approach reflects something we believe pretty deeply, that real community transformation is a long-term commitment, not a short-term project.

You can reach the Oregon campus at (419) 724-0027 or find us at 3540 Seaman Rd., Oregon, OH 43616. Services run Sundays at 8:30am, 10am & 11:30am, with kids programming at all the same times.
