Personal Growth & Outreach: What CedarCreek Offers

Church Community: Soarion Digital

Sunday, June 14, 2026

At CedarCreek, we believe the best version of your life isn't something you build alone — and it's not just something that happens inside a church building either. We've built a community where personal growth and serving others aren't two separate things. They're the same journey.

Whether you're just starting to ask questions about faith or you've been walking with Jesus for years and want to go deeper, there's a place for you here — and a way to make a real difference while you're at it.

CedarCreek's Personal Growth Programs

Growing as a person takes more than showing up on Sunday. Here's what we offer to help you keep growing all week long:

Small Groups: Groups meet throughout Northwest Ohio — and some meet online — built around shared life stages and interests. They're semester-based, low-pressure, and designed to create the kind of honest, supportive community that actually helps you grow. Topics range from faith foundations and purpose discovery to mental health, relationships, and navigating life's harder seasons.

Find a Group Near You

GrowthTrack: If you want to understand your purpose and figure out where you fit, GrowthTrack is the place to start. It's a free 4-week program covering your personality, spiritual gifts, passions, and calling, and it connects you directly to next steps in the community.

Weekend Messages: Every weekend service features Bible-based teaching that connects directly to real life, the kind of stuff you're actually thinking about during the week. It's practical, it's honest, and it's designed to stick with you well beyond Sunday morning.

LivingItOut Devotional: For daily habits that support your faith, our LivingItOut blog offers devotionals and resources to help you stay grounded between Sundays.

Community Outreach Initiatives at CedarCreek

Serving others is central to who we are. Across all six of our Northwest Ohio campuses, we run consistent, organized outreach that makes it easy to get involved and make a tangible difference.

Second Saturday Serves: Once a month at every campus, we head out into the community for hands-on outreach — serving nursing home residents, people experiencing homelessness, at-risk kids, and more. It's one of the most accessible ways to get involved, and it's a genuinely great first step if you've never served before.

Serve Day — July 25th: Once a year, our entire church rallies together for one big day of community impact. From painting at a women's shelter to packing gifts for first responders, there's a role for everyone. It's one of our favorite days of the year — and one of the best ways to experience what CedarCreek is really about.

Outreach Groups: For those who want something more ongoing and relational, our Outreach Groups partner with local organizations on a consistent basis — building real relationships with the people they serve over time, not just on a single Saturday.

Year-Round Programs: We run a free medical clinic, provide automotive assistance to people in need, and partner with local schools to invest in the next generation — steady, practical ways of showing up for our neighbors week in and week out.

Mission Trips: We also partner with and support local churches in places like Costa Rica and Honduras as they work to meet the spiritual and physical needs in their communities.

The Intersection of Growth and Service at CedarCreek

One of the things we hear most from people at CedarCreek is that serving others ended up being the thing that helped them grow the most. When you show up for your neighbors — when you use your gifts for something bigger than yourself — something shifts. Walls come down, faith gets real, and the community you build around shared purpose tends to be the kind that actually lasts.

That's why at CedarCreek, we don't treat personal growth and outreach as two separate programs. They're two sides of the same coin, and we've built our groups, serving opportunities, and teaching around that belief.
